Through a referral, I was called by a United Way Headstart office in Woodstock, Illinois to design their "little people's foyer" so the children would feel more comfortable. A double row of 4 1/4" tiles formed a "scenery" chair rail. A large mirror was designed for them to look at themselves and dance to their little hearts content. Their little yellow bus also travels around the mirror frame taking them to so many places. They love to run their fingers over the mosaic and 3D tiles with delight. It's a happy place for them and they actually look forward to going to "their office".

The following pictures show the mirror frame prior to grouting to show the extensive detail of our hand painted mosaics and after grouting to show the completed mirror frame.

What a wonderful surprise to receive such a marvelous letter regarding a "labor of love" completed several years ago. To know the children are still enjoying it makes my heart smile, as well as knowing it is still "hanging on" with all the little fingers rubbing over the creations made especially for them.
